About Don

With a reputation for outstanding Service and Professionalism, Don has delivered consistent results as a Top Producing agent in the area for Resort and Residential sales for 20 years.  As a former managing Broker, (he has overseen over 1,000 transactions for over $1B in Sales) Don’s expertise extends far beyond that of the average Sales Agent. In addition to being a Broker, he holds an Equestrian Property Specialist designation as well as owning a small horse farm.   Don has held all executive office positions for the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors(CCAR) including President in 2019, has been a state director for the SC Realtors (2016-2020), and served as a member of the Professional Standards and Legislative committees.  In 2013 he was honored to receive the prestigious CCAR Realtor Image Award from his peers.  Don enjoys being involved in community service and has served as the President for the Kiwanis Club of Pawleys Island, a Board member for the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce and currently on the BOD for the Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art.  Don’s love of music started in junior high and he worked as a professional musician (guitar) & singer for nearly 20 years prior to becoming a full time Realtor.  As a songwriter he wrote and produced an album of Golf Songs entitled 'Thank God For The 19th Hole' (check it out on Spotify) and still stays active performing live music with various local bands and solo performances including leading contemporary worship services for local churches and ministries. Originally from New Jersey, Don became officially ‘southern by marriage’ in 1985 and he and his wife Paula have enjoyed raising their family in the 'low-country' lifestyle along the coast of South Carolina.   As Don says,  "Our area is very beautiful and unique and well worth a look when considering purchasing a, primary residence, 2^nd home or an income producing property."
